Hi, everyone. Kris from Stone Age Gamer hereand this is a modern wireless controller. Modern wireless controllers are totally awesome because they're incredibly convenient. But could they be more convenient? I say yes, and so did the fine folks at Hyperkin who bring you the Armor3 Universal Magnetic Charging Cable Set. Let's take a look. [

[00:00:22] Okay. Here is the universal magnetic charging cable set from Armor3. Includes six pieces. And basically what this is, is is a USB charging cable that has these little individual doodads here that stay in your controller so you can just kind of slap them onto this cable. Yeah, pretty basic packaging. Let's see what's in the box and kind of get down to get down to business here. There you go. So here's your cable and it's got three USB Cs and three micro USB.

[00:00:58] So here are the Usb-C ones here. And you can see one of them is actually already connected to it right out of the box and they just kind of snap off like so and then think connect just like so in that fun. So and what you do is you take your here's a switch pro controller and I'm going to take this right here and just kind of plug it in to that. And so you just leave this in your controller all the time. Whenever you're ready to charge it, you just kind of connect it and leave it and go to town, and that is all there is to it. It's pretty decent connection, obviously. Like, you see, it's pretty easy to to kind of undo it, but as long as it's sitting flat, you're pretty much covered, you're pretty much good to go. And this basically cuts down on having to cram things in and out of these these slots in your controllers.

[00:01:50] We will go ahead and do it on a PlayStation 4 as well. So this one is Micro USB. I always forget the names of these. So this one, we'll just go ahead and stuff this little guy in here and it works the same way. You just kind of clip this sucker on there and it obviously doesn't hold its own weight because it's just a magnet. They click that in there and get this plugged in wherever you want to keep it somewhere safe and easy to access. And then you just leave this little bit in here all the time and you don't have to worry about, you know, plugging in and unplugging cables.

[00:02:27] It's it's a minor inconvenience, but it is a convenience nonetheless. And they're they're pretty nice because sometimes if you're repeatedly recharging these things, these ports can go bad or you can jam up there or something. And this kind of cuts down on the risk of doing that. And well, it's just neat. Magnets are awesome, right? Well, there you go. That's the basics. That's how this thing works.
