Good price and works as advertised - don't recommend for PSIO

Posted by Reviewer on May 4th 2021

Bought this cable for my playstation 1. Worked with playstation 1, however I also use the PSIO, and this cable was not powerful enough to support the PSIO in game reset feature (it would just hang). I ended up using this on my Playstation 2, and has been working great since. for the price it's hard to find issue with this cable. I just would not recommend if you intend on using modded PS1 with PSIO because the in game reset did not work for me until I used a different ac adapter.

Don't judge it by it's cover.

I was a little hesitant when I saw it in the same package as the PSlO. I thought adding a power cable with the system would include the original PS1 power cable. But I have been using this with the PlayStation 1 for a month and it hasn't given me any trouble.
