    Great for the price

Posted by Alton Cope on Oct 1st 2022

Granted there's significantly improved models out there, this thing still holds it's own for playing most games and with the steeply discounted price now a days with newer models available, this is truly a no brainer for anyone that needs something basic. Tried and true, highly recommend 5/5

    Quality SNES kit

Posted by TehRetroGamer on Jul 5th 2022

The Super Everdrive X5 was shipped and received very quickly. The X5 was a little picky regarding SD card compatibility, but once I found a compatible SD card things worked great. To others wondering whether or not to get this product, it’s 100% worth it…just maybe purchase the stoneagegamer offered SD card alongside to avoid potential compatibility issues.

    Fantastic flash cart!

Posted by Luke N. on Mar 2nd 2022

Fantastic flash cart for the price! This flash cart plays most Super Nintendo games as expected, the game load times are super fast, it resets back to the cart menu super fast, and the cart user interface is super easy to use. This everything you should expect from a flash cart in this price! I highly recommend this product, and thank you Krikzz and Stone Age Gamer!

    Everything I expected

Posted by Adam on Feb 26th 2022

This cart worked instantly and without a hitch. Very easy and simple setup. Can't ask for much more than that. As long as you don't need the special chips, this is a good, well-priced, straightforward cart without bells and whistles.

    SUPER EVERDRIVE X5 (BASE)

Great device that's super useful, for anyone reading note that this version doesn't support save states which I mistakenly believed.

    Works great, would like quicksaves.

Posted by Romcollector on Jul 25th 2021

I don't miss the few games this lower end model doesn't run.
Its played everything I thrown at it just fine.
The saves within the game work fine, but there are no
quick saves here, and that is the real downfall to this card
but it would be nice to have a lower end model with save state capabilities.

    The Budget Model

This will not run everything, but for the price it will run pretty close to that mark. If you are unsure, grab this bedore an FX PAK.

    Worth every penny

Posted by Erick on Apr 17th 2021

This thing is great, but be careful of which micro SD card you use, as not all are compatible. I used the firmware update 1.5 with a SanDisk microSDHC 8GB Memory Card and it is running perfectly. Just be sure to not have more than 300 files per folder, as it can mess things up apparently.
