    Mostly up to expectations

For most people, this will do exactly what you want it to do. The short hop button is a macro for pressing the two default jump buttons (X & Y) at the same time. It can be toggled to instead hit A&B (smash attacks) or A&X (short hop aerial). The downside here is that if you don't have your buttons mapped to the defaults, this won't function as desired. I tried contacting support to see if there was any possible way to remap to different buttons, but received no response.

Other than that, the controller is good. I have no issues with the buttons or sticks, and the battery life seems decent. It's lighter than the pro controller, but fits similarly in your hands.
