MegaBat800 High Capacity Battery for Game Boy Advance SP

Custom made battery for the Game Boy Advance SP with a true and tested capacity of 800mAh for extra hours of play time in comparison to the old and failing OEM batteries and the many clones with less than 600mAh that they claim.

 

The battery does not have the 2 plastic teeth that the stock battery has but this is not an issue at all with the battery as it fits snugly in the battery compartment and the pressure of the spring contacts and the cover help it stay in place just fine with the AGS-001 GBA SP. The AGS-101 SP and After Market Shells might need a shim to make better contact, we will include a shim with the battery but you can also 3Dprint your own using the file below.

    The battery works amazing, gave it a quick charge and it saved my gameboy sp. they even included a small 3D-printed bumper so the battery stayed in place, as it is a tiny bit smaller than the original.

    This is a great product, shipped in 3 days, easy 10 second install. Battery life outstanding for the ags 001. Playing ffv with brightness on. I`ve played 3 hours which is where my 20 year old stock battery needed charging and I don`t even have a red light yet.

    Highly Recommend. Tack it onto your next order from Stone Age Gamer because the cost for the value you get is phenomenal. Super easy to replace the battery and works perfectly in my GBA SP 001 and 101. My old OEM battery was lucky to last an hour after years and years of use. I tried a generic replacement and it was honestly no better at all. Picked up the MegaBat800 and all of a sudden I’m playing for hours on the green light, it’s just not a concern anymore. No reason not to. It’s great and does what it advertises.

    The ``850V`` battery I bought off amazon for the same price provided less than two hours of life with my IPS screen. This amazing battery provides over 5 hours.

    This battery is great! i upgraded my gameboy to an IPS display and the stock nintendo battery just wasn`t able to keep at least an hours worth of charge with the new screen, this new battery lasts for hours and is a great deal for the product!

    Just got this bad boy in today. Very grateful to have a battery that can breath extra life into my old GBA. The only hitch was that I expected one of those small screwdrivers to be included, but I just realized that another product has that, so that`s on me. Fast shipping and a reasonable price for countless hours of entertainment.

    I’m very pleased with the quality of the battery. It may not be an exact fit but you guys made sure to package a tiny block to fill in the gap so the battery doesn’t move out of place, and I gotta say that’s great. No bulge in either of the batteries I bought as well. Quality control is A++ in my book. Would totally recommend it to friends!

    I have bought 5 replacement batteries and they never last very long after a full charge. I found this one and it lasts is over 3 times as long as the best other battery I had. It fit perfectly in the case and I highly recommend.
