This is the Ice Monster version of the EverDrive-N8 Pro for the NES. It comes assembled in a clear shell with a Monster style label and held together with purple aluminum screws.

Basic Edition vs. Deluxe Edition

The Basic Edition comes with just the EverDrive-N8 Pro for NES cartridge with a gray back label in the selected style or configuration covered by a 1-year Warranty. Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge with a gold back label, a case, printed manual, a EverDrive-N8 Pro sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

Flash carts, ODEs (optical drive emulators), and similar devices Stone Age Gamer sells and supports are intended to be used only for the following purposes: development, playing games licensed by Stone Age Gamer for use with the product, and/or playing currently owned personally backed-up games and media where it is legal to do so. Stone Age Gamer does not offer support for any other use of this product.

B) PERSONAL BACK-UPS – In many territories it is legal to make back-ups for personal use and/or archival purposes, however it may not be legal in all territories. Please learn the national and local laws regarding this subject before making back-ups for personal use. Please note, in most territories "Personal Back-up" means exactly that; back-ups you made yourself of games you currently own. This often does not include back-ups obtained via other methods (i.e. downloading), even if it is a game you physically own.

C) DAMAGE – Neither Stone Age Gamer or the manufacturer is responsible for any damage of property this product may cause. D) MODIFICATION & USE – Any unauthorized modification and/or non-intended use of this or any other flash cart product sold by Stone Age Gamer shall void both manufacturer and retailer warranties of that product.

E) CLONE / MODIFIED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on un-modified original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or modified consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or modified consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or modified consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

    Top quality product! My only complaint is that the internal menu system is extremely rudimentary and could use some personality. Overall it`s been a great purchase and has excellent build quality ensuring it will last forever.

    This is not only rad looking, but it is also a flexible power house! Love the fact that I have more than enough save slots for EACH and EVERY game! Never had any issues. Has worked flawlessly since day one! :)

    The only NES cartridge you’ll ever need

    After owning three other Everdrive cartridges for other systems I finally decided to upgrade my NES N8 to a N8 Pro and have no regrets. The save states are a absolute game changer for playing old school Nintendo games that have zero save options built in.
    A must have for any retro enthusiast!

    The N8 Pro speaks for itself. Its a great device for playing backup copies of your games, plus allows for realtime debugging, on actual hardware, if you plan to make your own. The case and sticker provided by Stone Age Gamer is high quality. I am happy to see there is a seller who offers this type of customization, as the Ice Monster case looks great with the purple accents.

    I can play my classics on one cartridge, and also play rom hacks and homebrews on real hardware.

    This N8 Pro allows for saving, of course, but also supports 99 save states per game. Plus it supports the added convenience of stopping, starting, resetting, cheating, and changing games using a controller. The N8pro offers all the features of emulation with the speed and response that can only come from actual hardware. I am really glad I sold my only N8 and upgraded to the Pro model.

    Tired of paying top dollar for NES games? This is the last cart you'll have to buy. Easy to set up, and great features like save state! This is a must for speed runners, and makes playing difficult games more fun. The options for playing homebrew games is also on the table. The price tag is a little steep, but worth it. Very happy with this device.
