    Everdrive N8 Pro

Posted by Shane F. on Oct 18th 2021

The Everdrive N8 Pro is an excellent flash cart for the NES/Famicom. I'm using mine on a Analogue NT mini noir. It works perfectly with the system. One recommendation that I can give if using it with the NT mini is to change the system button combinations so that they don't overlap with the Analogue's. Otherwise if you want to go back into the Everdrive's menu it'll kick you back to the Analogue dashboard.

    Great looking, great performing cartridge

This cartridge has paired really well with my RGB modded Sharp Twin Famicom. Expansion audio and FDS audio sound great with this Everdrive.

    Everdrive N8 Pro

The famicom transparent blue case, is really cool. We can see the PCB. It works perfectly with the Analogue Nt Mini. Famicom disk rom doesn't seems to work, but its ok. All famicom's, NES, and hack rom seems to work fine.

The menu is simple but intuitive and it load the rom quickly.
I recommend to create alphabeticals folders. Is more easier to find the game you want to play.

    Ever the ultimate cartridge!

Posted by Steven Williams on Apr 16th 2021

Although I own mostly NES games and a couple of NES consoles. I decided to buy an RGB Famicom to go with this cartridge. Dumped the roms onto an SD card and your good to go!

This feels like a love letter to NES fans. The menu system is straight forward and alphabetical, save/load states, run large carts and homebrews. The games work flawlessly! I have only one nitpick, the menu looks the same as every other Ever Drive. I wish Krikzz and others would streamline the interface. I became so spoiled by the Mega SD and it's menus, (showing pictures of games, a grid, etc.) I hoped this cart would be able to show a picture of any highlighted game like the Mega SD. Hopefully that's a feature that will be added later.

Overall it's a sexy piece of tech for my childhood machine. I play TMNT3 and Cap & the Avengers on there all the time! Two thumbs up! My only regret is I can't give it a perfect score due to the lack of pictures. Terraonions Mega SD has spoiled me. Still when it comes to NES multi-carts ain't nothing better than this!

    Solid performance, Large size

Posted by Ryan on Nov 26th 2020

This cartridge is larger than any other Famicom cart I've seen. I haven't found an adapter yet that will allow me to use it in a front-loader. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had ordered the regular NES cartridge and then bought an adapter for my top-loader. Maybe someday they will make a “regular” sized cartridge.

    Best Famicom flash cart yet!

Posted by Ilia Iverson on May 10th 2020

Thanks to its inclusion of a proper op-amp, it's well worth the upgrade to the Everdrive N8 Pro if you want a flash cart with accurate expansion audio. Especially if you want to play the fan translation of Lagrange Point with the FM soundtrack properly amplified to mix with the Famicom's 2A03 sound effects. Stone Age Gamer's presentation of krikzz' flash products never fails to disappoint, giving you a deluxe package with good packaging, support, and many options. Can't recommend highly enough!
