What we know about KRIKzz and EverDrives.

As you’ve no doubt noticed, most EverDrives are out of stock on our site. This has resulted in a larger than usual amount of questions regarding potential restock times, as well as more general questions about the future of the brand since KRIKzz (the creator of the EverDrive flash carts) is based in Ukraine.

These questions aren't the easiest to answer given the situation over there right now, but this is what we know so far.

Q: Is KRIKzz okay?

A: Yes. He and his family made it out of Ukraine safely. However, the rest of his team is still in Ukraine. This was posted on his Twitter account on March 15th, and represents the most up to date information we have about his safety.

Q: Does this mean EverDrives will be discontinued?

A: No. As far as we know, EverDrives aren’t going away forever. However, given the situation right now, things have been put on hold indefinitely. When we hear more solid information, we’ll be sure to pass it along.

Q: So, when are you going to be restocked with EverDrives?

A: We honestly don’t know. Unfortunately, there’s simply no way to predict when we will be seeing more EverDrives at this time.

Q: Is there some way I can help KRIKzz directly?

A: Unfortunately, there is no way to help KRIKzz directly at this time. If he alerts us to any way to help him in the future we will let the community know as soon as possible. We would suggest donating to charities that are helping directly with those affected by the war in Ukraine like UNICEF. We are working to donate to such a charity ourselves soon via our  Stone Age Gamer Donates program.

Q: I have an existing pre-order on an EverDrive. Will I ever get it?

A: Some recent shipments did leave KRIKzz's facility. However, some of those shipments did not make it out of Ukraine before the war started. On March 4, 2022 the Ukrainian Post did say  flights have begun again to the U.S., so it's possible some of these shipments may still reach us. It will take time to determine which pending pre-orders will ship and which will not. If we determine that your pre-order will most likely never arrive, you will be contacted and issued a full refund. Also, if at any time you want to cancel your order for a full refund, please contact Stone Age Gamer support.

That about wraps up all the information we have right now. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll answer to the best of our ability. Thanks for your patience.
