    Awesome Controller

I have four of these and they’re great. No lag that I can tell, and it’s amazing to be able to play N64 sitting on my couch and not 6 feet away like the wired controller. Much better form factor than the original N64 controller.

    Great Controller

Posted by Jonathan Baum on Mar 12th 2022

I bought the Admiral so I can play N64 games on the switch. One of the greatest controllers I have ever used. I know Hyperkin makes excellent products and this is no an exception. Fells great in the hand. Does Not Feel cheap. It worked for my switch right out of the box. If your controller does not work with your Nintendo Switch you need to update the firmware. Hyperkin's software tool only works with Windows 10. If you can't download the software you might be running an is older than 7 or your PC is running windows 11. Windows 11 is still in beta. Once you get it working on the switch you need to sync it and use profile 4 to play n64 the require the control stick. If a game comes out like Kirby 64 that requires the D-Pad you want to use profile 3. Everything you need to set the controller up is in the instruction booklet.

    Good product

In my quest for all wireless controllers, I tested this and another model. This one works well for almost every game but golden eye. I still have to use a wired controller for goldeneye just for complete control but other than that this works perfectly. Very sturdy and well built.

This thing is great for people who don't want to stay close to the tv and the 3 grip design is alright but this product looks good
